During our first semester of Tina's class (physics) we were ask to design a Trebuchet, A machine used in medieval siege warfare or hurling large stones or any other projectile. We were asked to complete this project because we had to study the physics of the swing-arm and how much weight was needed to throw our projectile a certain distance
You can throw a projectile as far as possible by having an input angle of 45 degrees, and a counterweight that is twice the size of the projectile
The hardest part of this project was collaboration. One of my group members left the school and there was I and one other person in my group, we decided to split up and join different groups. The group I was put into didn't really know what they were doing except one person. I stepped in and got my group back on track and assigned parts of the project for people to do.
I brought some perseverance towards my group because when they were sitting around i stood up and did what no one else would do.
